Hopefully we have your answers right here!

HOW DO I GO ABOUT ORDERING A CONTAINER POOL.

Firstly you need to decide on the size, colour of the pool shell, which side you would like your stairs and what filtration system will suit your needs.

WHAT FILTRATION SYSTEMS DO YOU OFFER

 We offer 3 filtration systems.

1) Standard chlorine

2) Salt pool

3) Mineral pool

CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THE Mineral SYSTEM?

Please follow the link below to the Mineral Pool website where they will have the best explanation for you.

WHAT SITE PREPARATION NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE THE POOL ARRIVES?

1)     Firstly you would need to check with your local council whether approval is required and any other requirements that needs to be fulfilled. Each pool comes with engineer drawings which will aid you with the council application.

2)    Plan where you want to position your pool and level out an area that is slightly bigger than the container itself.

3)    Then you can either lay down a layer of crusher rock -6m option only - (minimum requirement is 100mm), concrete slab or reinforced concrete sleepers.

CAN THE POOL BE MODIFIED?

Unfortunately, no, as we use both halves of the shipping container for pools and also the designs are pre-moulded, also having a certain standard configuration allows us to keep the costs down.

CAN THE STAIRS AND DOOR BE LEFT OUT SO THAT WE CAN EXTEND A DECK AROUND THE POOL?

Yes, we can leave out the stairs and safety door, but keep in mind that you will then be required by law to place a fence around your pool.

CAN THE OUTSIDE OF THE DECK BE CLAD WITH WEATHER BOARDS OR OTHER CLADDING?

Yes, you can clad the outside of the container yourself, as we do not offer this. However, the cladding might affect the safety aspect of the pool (e.g. horizontal boards might allow a child to climb up into the pool).

HOW DO I CONNECT THE POOL FILTRATION SYSTEM TO THE MAINS?

You need to get an electrician to do this safely. As the system is fully installed, it will not take long at all.

CAN I PUT THE CONTAINER IN THE GROUND?

The product is designed to be an above-ground pool, but it can partially be in-ground (cut and fill) if the site is sloped. A retainer wall would need to be built around it to prevent contact with soil. This will also affect the safety aspect of the pool and additional child-proof fencing will be required. If you want to completely submerge the pool it would be better to go with a normal in-ground pool, there are a number of companies that will be able to assist you with this.

DOES THE METAL FROM THE CONTAINER CAUSE THE POOL TO BECOME HOT?

No, it does not affect the temperature as fibreglass itself is very insulative. If the pool is in full sun during the summer, the water will heat up regardless of the metal container.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED A CRANE TO PLACE THE POOL INTO POSITION?

If the yard allows, the truck could come in and drop the pool onto the prepared site. If this is not possible, you could contact your local crane company, who would come and inspect your yard and give you some direction as to which cranes would be needed and a quote.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HEATING OPTIONS?

We can offer you gas or electric heating, but if you want to go via the solar heating option you would need to go through a third party. We can install additional valves, which would allow any party a connection, this would also allow an installation at a later date.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY POOL WILL COMPLY WITH THE COUNCIL'S REGULATIONS ON POOL FENCING?

All states and territories have their own unique interpretations of the Australian standard with regards to pool fencing, therefore it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the pool will comply with the local council. We can supply engineer drawings to the certifier if required.

IS TRANPORT INLCUDED IN THE PRICE?

Due to each customer living in a unique location, we can not include the transport costs. We can however help to organise the transport for you.

CAN I ORGANISE MY OWN TRANSPORT?

Yes, you certainly may, just make sure that they have insurance.
